This site is a tribute to Alastair Houston, who was born in Ballymena
on May 6th, 1968. He is much loved and will always be remembered.

Alastair died peacefully, aged 54, at home in Edinburgh on 8th February, 2023 - after a long illness, faced with inspirational courage.

Partner of Catherine, son of Maureen and Bertie; brother/brother in law of Dorothy and Neil and uncle to Tyler. Beloved friend and adopted uncle to many.

Alastair and Catherine hugely valued the support and deep kindness of the staff at Maggie's Edinburgh over this last year in particular from Ali and Anne.

Alastair has asked people to consider donating to the centre, if they are able.
